Niall Ransford plays Etude No. 3 from Op. 60 by the19th century Italian guitarist Matteo Carcassi. Carcassi gained fame by touring across Europe and playing his many compositions. This piece features an alternation between the bass and melody which I often imagine representing a mundane dispute between a couple.
